Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026
Shattering Expectations (Chris Stone Art) respects your privacy. This page explains what information is collected when you browse or buy from this site, and how it's used.
Payment information
All payments are processed by Square, Inc. Your card details are entered directly on Square's own secure checkout page — they never pass through or get stored on this website. We never see or store your full card number. For details on how Square handles your payment data, see Square's Privacy Policy.
Shipping information
If you order something that ships, Square collects your shipping address as part of checkout and shares it with us so your order can be mailed via USPS. We use that address only to fulfill your order and don't use it for anything else.
Visitor analytics
To understand how the shop is used, this site keeps its own visit
statistics. Your browser is given a random visitor ID in a cookie
(se_vid, kept for one year) so that repeat visits can be
counted as the same visitor. With each page you view, we record the page,
the date, whether you're on a phone or a computer, and the website that
sent you here (for example, a search engine or Instagram). We also note
whether a visit included viewing a product, starting checkout or
completing an order.
This information is stored by us (on Google Cloud) and used only to see which products and pages people are interested in. It is not linked to your name, email, address or payment details, and it is not shared with or sold to anyone. You can clear or block the cookie in your browser at any time; the shop works the same without it.
What this site does not do
- No account creation, login, or password storage.
- No advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or ad networks.
- No sale or sharing of your information with marketers.
Besides the visitor ID above, the site uses one small cookie of its own to show one-time messages (for example, after a checkout error).
Order history
Receipt and order records for purchases are kept by Square as part of its own payment processing and reporting, consistent with its privacy policy and applicable law. This site itself does not maintain its own separate order database.
